We’ve had this conversation before. You know what I mean? It’s strangely familiar. Like it’s happened before.
There are no rules for onomatopoeia, but the most common form I’ve seen is “awoogah.”
The plural of octopus is “octopuses.”
While there are amusing possibilities for misunderstandings, dropping a capital never results in a difference in pronunciation.
Except when we’re talking about Poland.
