A tidbit is a small, interesting piece of information. Like a factoid, but less dubious.
E.g., “I picked up lots of tidbits about our new boss at the party. For instance, did you know she used to be a professional wrestler and never uses the word ‘the’?”
A tidbit can also be an excellent piece of food.
E.g., “I offered to carve the turkey so I could save the juiciest tidbits for myself by coughing all over the bird and announcing I had Covid.”
So what’s with “titbit”?

Americans are more likely to use “tidbit,” while Brits have mixed use.
A tidbit about me: I think “titbit” is more fun to say.
