Quick, before I wear out my welcome: Let’s talk about clothes!
I mean the noun for stuff you wear, not the verb, via clothe, to put on stuff . (That second one doesn’t come up as often these days.)
“Clothes” has two pronunciations: kloʊðz and kloʊz. Not an IPA fan? Okay: klow-thz and klowz.
Just use the second one, which sounds just like the verb “close,” as in, “Close the door when you leave.”

For most, a day without a voiced interdental fricative is reason enough.
